Back Bar Trivia will be an evening of entertainment to join with friends and test your knowledge on everything related to words: from writing and authors to grammar and spelling; new releases and classics to play scripts and song lyrics. And a bit of general knowledge thrown in for good measure.

This is your chance to gather fellow bookworms, your book club or writers circle. The last person who recommended a good read, your English literature classmates, your writers workshop buddies, your nan who loves crime fiction, your brother who can't get enough sci-fi, or that couple whose shelves are full of memoirs and biographies. Perhaps even that annoying person who keeps correcting your grammar.

Adam Page will be your host. You might know him from his Facebook blog Humans of Launceston, which has a following of more than 35,000. This is your chance to finally meet the person behind the countless stories of local characters that have no doubt popped up on your social media feed.

The Tamar Valley Writers Festival trivia night  is part of a reimagined program of events leading up to the next festival in 2022. Why not make a night of it: gather your friends, have some dinner and cap it off with a brain workout at Back Bar Trivia.
